Shipping Policy
Draft under legal review. Final terms will be posted here before we accept real repairs.
How it works
- After you approve the quote and pay, we email you a prepaid, insured inbound shipping label. Inbound and return shipping are billed separately (not built into labor). Packing instructions are included.
- Insurance: labels are insured at the declared value you give us. If you ship with your own label instead of ours, the inbound trip is at your risk, so please insure it.
- Unused labels expire, and we void them. If you don't ship within 14 days, the quote may expire.
- Return shipping is always insured by us and sent with tracking to the address on your ticket only. We can't redirect a shipment to a different address.
Packing
- Back up your data and turn off Find My / FRP (or plan to provide your passcode).
- Remove the case, SIM and SD cards, and accessories. Don't include a charger unless we ask for one.
- Wrap the phone and pack it with at least 2 inches of padding on every side in a rigid box. Envelopes aren't accepted.
- Write your ticket number on a slip of paper inside the box.
- Take a photo of the device and the packed box before you seal it.
Lithium batteries: important
Phones contain lithium-ion batteries, and carriers have strict rules about shipping them.
- Batteries ship only when installed in the device. We don't accept loose or spare batteries, and we don't ship them.
- Never ship a device with a swollen, bulging, leaking, hot, or damaged battery. Carriers prohibit it because it's a fire risk. Signs include a lifted screen, a back panel that's separating, or the phone rocking when you lay it flat. If you see any of these, stop and contact us before shipping. We'll tell you about local battery recycling and what to do next.
- If a battery swells or turns out to be damaged while the device is with us, we won't ship that battery back. We'll remove it and recycle it safely. Then you choose: we install a new battery (with your approval of the cost), or we return the device without one.
- Turn the device fully off (not just asleep) before you pack it.
- We follow carrier rules for lithium shipments, including USPS Publication 52 and UPS/FedEx rules, and labels may be limited to ground service.
Damage or loss in transit
- We photograph and record every package and device on arrival, before opening the device.
- If a package arrives damaged, we document it and file the carrier claim for labels we provided. Covered amounts are refunded or applied as the carrier insurance pays out. Our liability is still capped as stated in the Terms.
- If a return shipment is lost or damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery (or of the expected delivery date). We file the claim, and we'll repair, replace, or refund up to the insured value.
Where we ship
Within the United States only. Sales tax, where it applies, is based on the ship-to address.
